Condition: New (Important note: these do not come sealed, and this copy came to me with an inch or so seam split on the back of the box which is just plain white, no artwork. I've put a piece of clear tape over the spot so it won't get worse, but really it's pretty minimal. Also, I've taken great care with all of the inner packaging, separating the records from the sleeves to prevent any seam splits during shipping)
* 4 LP box set of unreleased/exclusive music by The Hafler Trio - limited edition of 500 hand numbered copies - this copy is #333.
* This very special box set release contains almost four hours of Hafler Trio archive recordings recorded between 1987 and 1999 and gives a great opportunity to dig into the universe of music mastermind, multi-talent and concept-art genious Andrew McKenzie including his electronic/drone/ambient/music and concrete-like music output as The Hafler Trio. None of this material has been officially released on vinyl or CD up to this point. In 2012 Frank of Vinyl On Demand went through a whole pallet of tapes, DAT's, and reels of Hafler Trio archive recordings; some released, but many still previously unreleased. Frank of VOD then digitized several of his favorites and Andrew choose the final recordings for this release, and also made this very beautiful conceptual design for the box. This is the ultimate Hafler Trio experience for the die hard fans as well as new open minded listeners not familiar with Andrew McKenzie's work.
