This Auction is for a real gem of an Album from 1964
Artist : The Honeycombs
Title: The Honeycombs
Catalogue Number NPL 18097 This is a MONO recording.
Label Pye (dark pink label)
This Album was the Honeycomb's debut and contains their two chart hits, "That's the Way" and "Have I the Right" which was a huge hit for the band.
You can see the track listing in my photos.
I have played the Album on both sides and it plays really well. There are a couple of very isolated clicks but no jumps or pops at all.
The vinyl is worthy of a near excellent plus grade. It may well easily make Excellent, but I like to be cautious
It plays well on both side. I thought I heard a couple of slight clicks but they were not evident on second play.
The sleeve is laminated on the front and it is clean and not ripped. It is slightly rubbed with the light surface scuffing you see on these sleeves.
The rear of the sleeve is a little grubby in colour i.e. yellowed white cardboard with some foxing, but it is free from rips or tears.
For a 53 year old album it is in very good condition.
This is a really great vinyl LP record and quite rare in this vinyl condition.
