Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am now selling another..YES another set of UK swirl VERTIGO albums. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully as some of the albums are NOT very first pressings and some will be VERY FIRST white label promo's. But ALL are GENUINE UK SWIRL PRESSINGS. 

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --THE JOHN DUMMER BAND featuring NICK PICKET--BLUE--UK ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING. 1972, stereo 6360 055 The 56th of 88 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD, GIMIXED and UN-LAMINATED. This delicate un-laminated surface with it's very delicate cut outs is extremely vulnerable to wear and tear. This copy is no exception but it is above average and therefore I consider it in very collectable condition. The colours are very strong and vibrant, there is moderate light creasing. The top edges are EX, the bottom edges are also EX with no splits or tears. The front is EX- with  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS, NO STAINS AND VERY LITTLE RUBBING, there is a a little damage to a small part of the cloud cut-outs consisting of a very small amount of creasing and a little tiny dark spot(see photo's) . The rear  is in the same EX- condition with  minimal ring wear . The inner gatefold is graded as EX++.  The opening edges are in lovely EX+ condition with no tears and no feathering. There is spine wear and the information is barely readable. There is wear to the very tips of the corners. This album comes with an ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE in VG condition with tape stains and tears. All in all this is in very acceptable condition for a 35year old UN-LAMINATED sleeve.EX- . VERY, VERY RARE NOW.

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. There are very few spindle marks on either side, but this album has obviously always been handled with great care N/MINT N/MINT

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see VERY FEW, VERY LIGHT surface hair lines which were caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is  N/MINT. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There are VERY FEW dust crackles that can be heard only in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are second to none. This really is a top copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .  EX++/EX++.
