DESCRIPTION
You are bidding on a stunning example of a VERY RARE original 1966 UK 'factory sample' demo release by THE JONSTON McPHILBRY on the Fontana label (TF 663) "SHE'S GONE" b/w "WOKE UP AT EIGHT" 7-inch 45 RPM single with 3-prong push-out centre. In repro period-correct Fontana company sleeve.
This terrific single is in a stunning mint (M) condition. Clean, crisp and bright, retaining its original sheen and without any discernible surface marks or blemishes. The labels are nice and clean with no stickers, tears or writing (see scans). The label is stamped 'sample not for resale' in yellow, on side-A. The 3-prong push-out centre is fully intact and has no damage. There are no spindle marks or signs of wear. , The record plays superbly, loud and clear, without hiss or crackle or anything to spoil the enjoyment. Definitely no skips or jumps.
