Description

Original 1st  UK mono pressing the Kinks Village Green Preservation Society Pye NPL 18233 UK LP 1968.  Laminated sleeve with inner flipbacks. Comes with original polythene lined inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl and has blue and black Pye labels. The matrix numbers are NPL 18233 A-3W  & NPL 18233 B-3W     This is the Kinks scarcest & most sought after album and rightfully so.   Condition of sleeve is not mint as per scans  with a little creasing and crinkling and delaminating of the laminated surface (always common with this album) but still presentable. The album itself plays really well - the vinyl has a good sheen with just one visible scratch on tracks 3-4 side one, however this isn't audible on playback. I have played the entire album and it plays very well with no jumping, sticking, repeated clicks etc. and has only very light surface noise only between tracks.  Please check all the scans as these an accurate representation of condition.  The scans showing the vinyl itself have a few reflections of my outside washing line and pegs !! obviously NOT marks on the record itself.      Postage UK £4  Europe £7   Rest of World £10
