The Marvellous Marvelettes - Original mono UK pressing TML 11008 - very rare vinyl album, fabulous condition, released 1964.

I'm not an expert (but I'm learning all the time!), so I've been very cautious in grading - I wouldn't want a buyer to be disappointed.  I've graded as per the standard grading system set out at the bottom of the listing.  

Vinyl is VG++ - sounds really clear with no crackles or hisses, even in the quiet bits, and I can't see any scratches or scuffs.    Has a "factory sample" label on side 2, but I've no idea if it is a sample or not.  Cover is also VG+ with just a little wear at the corners as I've tried to show in the pictures.  From family collection which I am now splitting and selling on their behalf - please see my other listings for further lots. Has A1/B1 matrix numbers so guess it's a first pressing.  Track listings are below.

Record Grading Guide:

Mint (M):  Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed.

Near Mint (NM or M-): A nearly perfect record. The record shows no obvious signs of wear. A 45 RPM or EP sleeve will have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling. An LP cover will have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects.

Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows some signs that it was played and handled but was looked after.  Record surface may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect  listening.  The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it will be barely noticeable. Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear.  In general, if not for a couple things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint.

Very Good (VG):  Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear may be noticeable, as may light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+):  Will play through without skipping but will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object

Poor (P), Fair (F):  The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully seam split, crinkled, and written upon.
