Description

TITLE/ARTIST: This is the rather collectible, original Soundtrack LP, in stereo on the Colgem Label, by the 60's super group, The Monkees, from 1968 (see the pics above). This album is entitled "Head" from their motion picture of the same title - and is so collectible in part because there really were no big hits from it. The movie actually included other superstars of the time, like Annette Funicello, Sonny Liston (heavyweight boxer), Ray Nitschke NFL football player), and Frank Zappa. Now that's quite some wide variety of talent!! And, all of this is in pretty nice overall condition and even comes with an original Colgems Records inner sleeve (see pics above). I will be listing other old, rare, and hard to find LP's, EP's, 45's and EP's in addition to this one in my future auctions, so please check my site out in the future - as there are hundreds to get to yet. LABEL INFO: The label is super nice with no issues at all. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also very, very good - extremely shiny, clean and nice with nothing in much need of a mention, although there are a few super light (and I do mean, super light) surface/paper lines on either side - but they are really light and totally insignificant. Otherwise, in my opinion, the vinyl looks almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased, but please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything. JACKET INFO: The jacket is primarily clean and nice, but does show scuffing along the seam areas, and perhaps some very early and light signs of "aging" in a few other places - but nothing too serious!  INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion this rare Monkees LP is very clean and nice overall, not to mention how difficult it is to find anymore, so please have at it.
