THE NEW YORK COMMUNITY CHOIR - THE GATHERING  - myrrh - MSB-6657

The much-lauded New York Community Choir put a disco-tinged take on the soul-gospel fusions pioneered by Edwin Hawkins and Rance Allen. It was really a brilliant move, considering how both styles put a premium on soulful belting and inspire dancing at the peak of their intensity.

Behind the perceptive ears of Bernard Diggs, the Choir brought the holy ghost to clubs.

Original pressing from 1981.

The vinyl shiny with a few light marks. VG+.
The cover is still held in it's original shrink wrap and has little damage. VG+.
