THE PICADILLY LINE – The Huge World Of Emily Small *ORIG CBS LP* 63129 (UK, Mono, 1967)

Very pleased to present this UK 1st press original of this great period piece from the first Summer of Love – a very rare LP which I can bring to you in superb condition, both sleeve and vinyl.
The front laminated, single-format sleeve is a great example. NO major creases, no splits, tears, ring wear or writing. Sharp opening edges with negligible feathering! Lies perfectly flat with no ripples, bends or dishing! GREAT sleeve for its 45 years! Just a bit of shelf wear to the bottom edge (top edge is fine) and a touch of rubbing to the spine which slightly impedes the text – however this is still fully legible. Small dirt mark to the rear and a couple of black spots but other than that the rear is clean, flat and without ANY creases. Minor corner wear but all in all still sharp, well defined and the iconic 1960’s artwork is still unhindered and without any fading to the colour. A terrific EX (Excellent) sleeve.
The original deep orange ‘33’ labels are simply superb. NO fading, no writing, no residue, dirt, tears or other damage. NO SPINDLE EVIDENCE either! Brilliant pair of these vintage labels!
The light to medium weight vinyl is a finely preserved example. Visually a little very soft scuffing to either side (not easily visible in normal light) and one faint surface mark but NO hairlines, scratches, heavy scrapes. NO embedded dirt, dust pockets, craters or bobbles. Looks great and grades a true visual EX (Excellent). *PLEASE NOTE – My EX does not mean substantially marked or with even the slightest dulling. This is a very pretty looking disc indeed. IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and plays great with hardly any surface noise (tiny touch of static occasionally), NO repeated clicks, no snap, ONE single pop, no hiss, distortion or loss of clarity. Hardly any soft ticks even. So expect a very quiet and clear listen – the play grade at least matches the visual one – EX+ (Excellent Plus). Will be very hard to find better!
Presented in its original orange and white company advertising inner, this is a great opportunity to snaffle a fabulous copy of this serious rarity with one of the most iconic sleeves of the 1960s.
