Description

Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Beatles – related and Rolling Stones records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!

On offer, an extremely rare STEREO White Label EXPORT pressing of the Rolling Stones’ Aftermath album, cat. no. Decca SKL 4786. This is an export pressing form the early 1970’s, because of the BOXED Decca Label.

The record is in VG minus condition, there are quite some non-sounding hairlines, a couple non-sounding lines / marks.  The labels are in VG condition, there is a sticker mark on side 1 and there are some spindle marks on both sides. The matrix endings on this record are 1W / 1W.

The cover (strangely enough a mono cover) is in VG+ condition, besides the usual wear and tear, there is some ring wear, some age browning and some scuff marks on the back. Further there is nothing wrong with the cover; no writing, no rips or tears or other damage.

The record comes with an original Decca inner sleeve (one with 4 blue squares on each side), which is in VG+ condition. Besides a little age browning, some handling wear on the opening edge, a “dog-eared” corner and a tear on the die-cut hole, this inner sleeve looks great.

This is an extremely rare, if not impossibly rare WHITE LABEL U.K. EXPORT pressing of the Rolling Stones’ Aftermath album. Just how often do you see a U.K. copy of this album with a white label? This is a real opportunity for all Rolling Stones
