Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Beatles related and Rolling Stones records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare first U.K. STEREO pressing of The Rolling Stones – Beggars Banquet on the BLUE UNBOXED Decca label, cat. no. SKL 4955. This copy also has the rare “Patents Pending” credit on the back of the cover, printed just after the printers name (Garrod & Lofthouse).
The record is in VG+++ condition, there are a couple non-sounding hairlines and a few visible but non-sounding scuffs. The labels are in VG+++ condition as well, there only some spindle marks and the previous owner has written his (or hers) initials on both labels. The matrix endings on this record are 2K / 2K.
The cover is in VG+++ condition, there is a small crinkle along the top of the back and there is a very tiny smudge on the right side of the front. Further there is some very slight ring wear coming through on both sides of the cover. Besides all mentioned minor defects, this cover is fantastic condition, no writing, no rips or tears or other strange damage. The record comes with an original “Important, The Equipment and The Record” inner sleeve, which is in VG+ condition. It has some age browning and just some handling wear and the previous owner has also written his (or hers) initials in the top right hand side.
This is a very rare FIRST U.K. STEREO copy of the Rolling Stones’ Beggars Banquet album with the mega rare “Patents Pending” credit on the back. It would be very hard to find another copy with this 1st pressing with this credit, as “Patents Pending” was removed after a couple weeks of printing. A real opportunity for all Rolling Stones collectors to own a very first STEREO pressing of this album with 1st printed cover. Happy Bidding!

Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
