THE ROLLING STONES – Sticky Fingers - MFSL 1-060 - LP RECORD

Condition

Disc(s): VG+

Labels are clean, no writing, 2 lines on side 1 that don't make any noise. It sounds great! It's got high gloss and NO SKIPPING. It's such a pretty disc. It's probably nicer than VG+, but I grade conservatively.

Sleeve(s): VG

Original padded MOFI sleeve, some MILD wrinkling, but it's plastic - no worries. No splits or rips.

Jacket: VG

There is minor cracking along top (see pic) and bottom in the paper at some points along the edges, but no wear through except in corners. Spine has some cracking along it, but it's still legible. The corners have MINOR dents, but images are clear and clean. NO writing. The zipper on the front is embossed and still has the gold layer on it.

Note(s): No original inserts. This disc comes with a protective outer sleeve

5. If you’d like expedited shipping, please TELL ME AND wait for the invoice – I send invoices quickly. If you are fine with the shipping and handling offered, pay right away.

5.5. I ship on SAME DAY OR NEXT DAY (IN RARE CASES, THE LATTER). One exception to the same day rule: If you purchase on Sunday, it will be sent on Monday. J

6. I describe accurately, I send securely (delivery confirmation included, but not extra)

7. Smoke Free and Water damage free (unless otherwise noted clearly).

8. I’ll pay for return postage and a full refund when you decide within 3 days to notify me that you want one. I will submit refund AFTER I receive item back in my hands.

9. All albums are cleaned with “Spin Clean System - MKII”. This is a professional grade system that realllllly cleans records well. NO ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL OR AMMONIA ARE USED.

10. If there are splits in the sleeve, I will gently repair them with non-yellowing tape and in a manner that makes the fixes inconspicuous.   

11. And LASTLY, if you’re unsatisfied I WILL make it right. Please vent your frustration with me via eBay email and leave my feedback and ratings alone. Things happen and I am big on customer service, so give me the opportunity to put the smile back on your face. eBay is a good time and you work hard for your money. I keep that in mind as I post things on eBay. J  

12. If you use an e-check via paypal, I will refund your money, cancel the transaction and relist the item – I’ll leave neutral feedback as well. E-checks are slow to process – hence I sit on product I’m trying to move and must wait a LONG time for payment (my personal record is 3.0 weeks) and are subject to denial – hence making the wait longer for you and me.

13. Please understand I will say “NO”, if you ask me to take cash for ANY item. I do business on eBay because I appreciate the structure it provides for buyers and sellers.  Paying cash is outside of the eBay structure, therefore please refrain from asking.

Goldmine Standards

Sleeve Grade/Vinyl Grade

Mint [M]:

This item is absolutely perfect in every way, possibly even still sealed.

Near Mint [NM or M- or EX]:

A nearly perfect record. The record shows no obvious sign of wear. An LP jacket has no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. No cut-out holes, either. Basically, Near Mint looks as if you just removed the shrink wrap.

Very Good Plus [VG+]:

Shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but is should be barely noticeable. The center hole is not misshapen by repeated play. Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turn-up corners, or a slight seam-split. An LP jacket may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print.

Very Good [VG]:

Many of the defects found in a VG+ record are more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

Good [G], Good Plus [G+]:

Good does not mean bad! A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. A jacket or sleeve has seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.

Poor [P], Fair [F]:

The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and/or writing. The LP jacket barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully seam split, and written upon.
