We aim to list only higher grade records to reduce the possibility of playing problems. However, vinyl is vinyl after all, and can be unpredictable at times.

GRADING GUIDE
MINT: The vinyl record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The vinyl record shows some signs of having been played. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The vinyl record has obviously been played many times with noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The vinyl record has obviously been played many times with noticeable surface marks and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The vinyl record is likely to be just playable but visual examination shows that it has not been cared for properly. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The vinyl record will not play properly due to scratches etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
This vinyl record formed part of a record collection that has been amassed over the last 40 years by a collector who took great care to maintain the original condition. Items were originally purchased mainly in the UK, but some were purchased abroad (mainly USA) and from record fairs.
