THE SOUND Physical World 7" EP - Tortch Records original 1979
This is the very hard-to-come by first single from The Sound released in 1979. I bought this record from new after seeing the band play live and can honestly say that I've not played it more than 2-3 times. I have re-played for the first time in about 40 years to check before listing!
Sleeve is in Excellent condition with virtually no ringwear or creasing and there are no rips or tears. There is one small 'scuff' on the front and one or two small brown spots showing on the lighter parts of the design. Please see photos for details.
The vinyl is in Near Mint condition having had very limited use.
Side A has a couple of extremely light superficial surface marks but these do not affect the sound quality.
Side B has no visible marks.
The sound quality of this record is superb with virtually no surface noise apparent on either side. I was pretty blown away when I played it and really enjoyed hearing it again. Makes me wonder why it was left unplayed for so many years!
