Rare 1st Colombian pressing from 1968 – MONO version….
GRADING:
Record: EXCELLENT (has some paper sleeve marks visible under bright light that hardly affect the play – stunning condition for 1968 Colombia press)
Gatefold Jacket: VG++ ~ Excellent great shape, some wear on spine. Booklet is missing.
Some words on this issue: The SPEAKERS: “En El Maravilloso Mundo De Ingeson” (Kris – KM-430.336-HP) (Record: Excellent, has some paper sleeve scuffs/ Gatefold Jacket: Excellent). Deliriously rare Columbian issue. “Their fourth self-titled album from 1968 was a major advancement for the Speakers, as it was crammed with excellent originals that mixed garage pop and acid rock. Later that year the group released it’s final album, the psychedelic masterpiece En El Maravilloso Mundo De Ingeson (In the Wonderful World of Ingeson). A record such as this could only be released independently as it was too far out for major labels to market. The album has a very cool lo-fi sound and is filled with psychedelic madness and weird acid folk psych tracks. Truly a great and as whacked out as any of the early Mutantes records. Columbian original press is bloody rare, sadly missing booklet. Record comes in good condition of a south American slide, only some faint surface noise in between tracks. Rare in any condition and this one is very nice.....so for Colombia record graded as EX....some faint scuffs, no scratches....
