For sale - from my personal collection - the following LP by special 60's vocal trio THE SPOKESMEN, titled:

"THE DAWN OF CORRECTION"

original 1965 pressing on Decca Records DL 4712, MONOAURAL, made in USA.

CONDITION:

- factory SEALED (full cello, sharp corners, no cutouts; a few staples holes near the upper left corner; front cello a little worn-dirty on the left side)

PERSONNEL:

Featuring John Medora, David White (formerly of Danny & The Juniors) and Ray Gilmore - all on vocals with guest musicians alternating on tracks. Among them a few notable names such as Buddy Lucas (harmonica), Vinnie Bell (guitars) and Artie Kaplan (flute and piccolo).

COMMENTS:

12 tracks, including 6 original compositions and 6 covers (among them songs by Dylan, Beatles, Phil Ochs, Joe South). Very interesting and special pop vocal-folk crossover music based mostly on "protest song" rendition. The only SEALED copy I've ever seen of this must-have 60's album. A collector's item, highly recommended!
