THE STRANGLERS-THE RAVEN 1979 UNITED ARTISTS RECORDS UK IMPORT LP UAG-30262 IN A SOLID VG(cover)-EXC. VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! The 4th studio album from the post-punk Stranglers in this auction and one many a fan says is their best. It does indeed feature some of their strongest cuts, songs such as Duchess, Nuclear Device(The Wizard of Aus), the title track & Ice. All fans of the band need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just 2 very light hairlines on side 1 that definitely do not hamper play at all, plays well throughout. The cover has a couple of issue though: the cover is import flimsy, has a 2" split on the top edge, small scuffs on the spine corners(see picture), mild wear along the edges and minor rubs on the corners. The back cover has a blue ink checkmark next to each song, a very small promo sticker that reads Factory Sample Not For Sale and the call letters WVBC written in black magic marker underneath the song titles. The original lyric inner sleeve is intact. A fantastic buy if you can get past the cover issues.
