Up for auction is a very well-preserved copy of the three LP Box Set, "The Trojan Story" released on Trojan Records in 1980. Made in England. All LPs are pressed in the original mono versions of the rare original recordings. Includes original two-sided insert which gives a brief history of the recordings along with song listings (see photos). This set is in beautiful condition. I have owned it since it was new, and it's been played once to record it. The box itself is in great shape, with only the slightest amount of rubbing on the corners. The seams are tight, intact, and absolutely no seam splits or repairs, which are typical for these boxes. The hinge is completely intact and tight--it still "cracks" when you open it. The vinyl LPs are beautiful, showing very little signs of previous use or handling. High gloss, original sheen. No scratches. Perhaps a few signs of having been pulled out of their paper inner sleeves. No marks around spindle holes to show how little use these have had.
