This is a 1971 UK re-issue of the original 1967 UK 12" LP, as supplied at time of issue in a US issue "peelable banana" gatefold picture sleeve.

UK Cat no MGM/Verve 2315 056 (see notes below)

PLAY GRADES in EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT condition.

The MGM record labels are clean - with UK cat number 2315 056.

The USA Verve issue gatefold picture sleeve, with peelable banana, is in good condition, with the following notes:

  • Age and handling marks, with some creasing and edgewear. The inner section (picture 5) is clean.
  • The peelable banana has been selotaped near the top, and is wrinkled (see pictures 2 and 3).
  • The bottom seam on the rear section of the gatefold (where the record is stored) had split but has been neatly repaired with an insert which is glued inside the sleeve (see picture 6), the outside of the repaired seam is frayed and can be seen in picture 7.
  • Catalogue number (Verve) V6-5008 is on the spine of the sleeve, and is also visible under the Polydor/MGM "revision" sticker in the top left corner on the rear of the sleeve (see picture 4)
  • The bottom left corner of the rear of the sleeve has been repaired (glued - see picture 4)
  • Spine is fully legible.

Original Polydor "Head Hunters" poly-lined inner sleeve, no splits or tears.
