Description
This ultra-rare 45rpm is by an Arizona doo wop group named The Vice-Roys. They sing an outstanding ballad "I Need Your Love So Bad" backed by an equally hot up-tempo song "My Heart". It was released in 1961 on the Phoenix,Arizona label Ramco records 2715. The members of this group were stationed in one of the air force bases in Arizona and were and were made up of both black and white singers making them one of the first integrated singing groups in the State. Harmonies are fantastic with marvelous back-up by the Mike Metco Combo. Vinyl grades at a strong vg++ with superb gloss and a few light hairline scuffs. Overall play is decent with a light tick on the beginning of the A side which is immediately overpowered by the music. This is no doubt the holy grail of Arizona doo wops and rarely if ever shows up in any shape. Label has light soiling.
