This is the original 1970 vinyl album release of THE WHO "Live At Leeds" that is in Very Good+ condition for both the disc and the album sleeve. It still includes near mint condition copies of the large poster from the band's regular Tuesday night "Maximum R&B" gigs in the 1960's at London's Marquee club and 9 other unique inserts which show the legal hassles, rejections, and how little money the band earned in its early days. Except for a few minor bent corners on the inserts and a word written on the side 1 label, this copy is in very good condition.

This is a recording from a February 14, 1970 show at the University Of Leeds Refectory Hall. Many critics consider it to be one of the best live recordings of all time. It was released by MCA in May, 1970 on Decca Records as DL-79175.

This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 50 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
