THE WHO "TOMMY" SEALED 2xLP Decca Records DXSW 7205   * * *   Beautiful SEALED U.S. DECCA pressing of THE WHO'S monumental rock opera TOMMY. Though you can see from the photos there is an RIAA certified gold sticker on the front there is also a small PROMO sticker which reads 'Sample Copy' on the back. Mentions "Decca Records A Division Of MCA Inc. New York, N.Y., USA" on bottom of back of jacket.   This particular copy came from the collection of a music industry executive who worked in The Who's management office between 1969 and 1979. It has never been opened and has sat untouched in storage for over 30 years!   This is the original pressing with NO BARCODE, no cut out holes, and no saw marks.   * * * VINYL: M (SEALED!!!) COVER: VG+ (SEALED!!! WITH PROMO STICKER ON BACK!!! Some minor dings and rounding to corners most likely due to having been sealed in shrink for 30+ years. Shrink is fully intact aside from a split at the top. Overall this sleeve looks close to NM though as you can see from the photo below there are a series of minor seam slpits along the top spine due to shelf wear.
