THE WHO "TOMMY" ORIGINAL UK PRESSING  2xLP Track Records 613 013/4   * * *   A major holy grail item among WHO collectors this is the original UK pressing of THE WHO's TOMMY from 1969. The labels are the flat black TRACK RECORDS labels (note: non-glossy) and it includes the ULTRA RARE limited edition booklet. You can also tell that this is a VERY EARLY pressing because the booklet is stamped number 28!!! You can search for years and years and may never come across an earlier pressed copy. Includes everything....even the original poly-lined inner sleeves which have "MADE IN ENGLAND" printed on them.   This particular copy came from the collection of a music industry executive who worked in The Who's management office between 1969 and 1979. It has never been played and has sat untouched in storage for over 30 years!   This is the original pressing with NO BARCODE, no cut out holes, and no saw marks.   * * * VINYL: NM (Looks and sounds UNPLAYED!!! One small visible surface scuff on one side which does not affect play at all. PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED ONA VPI MACHINE!!!) COVER: NM- (There is a very small amount of wear to the top spine but otherwise this sleeve is in impeccable condition! Only very minor rounding to corners. Includes the original booklet which is stamped with '28' indicating that this is indeed one of the first copies out of the gate!) * * *    LOW STARTING BID! GREAT COPY! NO RESERVE!
