Description
Here's an OG MONO LP recorded in 1964, and this 1969 SECOND UK PRESSING of THE YARDBIRDS LP, FIVE LIVE 33 SX1677 on Columbia/EMI. This is the one box EMI version. People can always argue about the greatness or impact of an album, but nobody can ever say that the debut LP from The Yardbirds in 1964 wasn't a moment in music history. Clapton was the guitarist on this one, and it was his debut recording. In an era in Rock where very few bands made live records, The Yardbirds introduced them selves to the world with a live set from The Marquis Club. The cover is a 3 side flipback Garrod & Lofthouse, and is in VG++ condition all the way around. There is an old price sticker on the back, lower right. The vinyl shows very little signs of play, has great gloss, barely a spindle mark. The vinyl plays and sounds amazing. Nothing better than a 60's UK MONO PRESSING!!
