PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP
OFF-THE-CHARTS RARE original Gilbert Kong mastered Terre Haute first pressing from 1977 on Mercury's skyscraper label with Phonogram/Polygram/Phonodisc credit in the upper label rim text and rigid glossy full color printed inner sleeve!!! LP is VG++ with a few light paper scuffs. Cover is VG with some light ring and a bit of edge wear. What makes this particular copy spectacularly rare is the fact that is has been SIGNED IN FULL on the rear cover in beautifully legible black marker by each member of the band next to their respective photo on the stairs!!! This LP was included in a large collection I purchased in the early 2000s here in Chicago from the brother of a former record warehouse distribution employee who had inherited his late sibling's collection. Along with a slew of jaw-dropping promotional rarities were around a dozen signed LPs by Ozzy, Heart, April Wine, Blue Oyster Cult, Foreigner and The Runaways. One of my biggest regrets is selling the signed Diary Of A Madman LP around 2 weeks before Ozzy passed away but whaddaya gonna do. You can view that one on Popsike from July 10th of 2025. This one, however, is on another level entirely as it has been signed by every member of the band, most significantly by the legendary Phil Lynott, who passed away in early 1986 and whose signature is MUCH harder to come by due to his passing at such a young age. 100% guaranteed authentic. Don't sleep Lizzy collectors. Finding a fully signed LP by the band's classic (and BEST) lineup won't be easy. Miss it and be sorry.
