DESCRIPTION
Thin Lizzy - “Nightlife” Vertigo Records VEL-2002 (Stereo) from 1974. Hard to find U.S. First Pressing Heavy Metal / Hard Rock album from Thin Lizzy featuring Phil Lynott, Brian Robertson, Scott Gorman and Brian Downey with guests Gary Moore, Frankie Miller and Jean Roussell. On the Original Vertigo labels with the Catalog Number and “Stereo” on the left of the spindle hole and the Side number to the right. In the Original Cover with No Cutouts, promo markings or Barcode. Includes the Original Printed Phonogram / Philips / Mercury / Vertigo Inner Sleeve. This is a First Columbia Santa Maria Pressing as indicated by Matrix / Runout Vinyl markings which read:

CONDITION
The Sleeve is in okay shape. There is shelf wear and corner softening/wear. The top seam is split and the spine is split half way. Still looks nice with no stains, tears, writing, cutouts, etc. and works great if you keep it in a sleeve (provided) so I’ll call it VG. Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking fairly lightly played. There are scuffs, marks, light hairlines and one small nick at the end of side one that you can feel with a fingernail. VG visually but plays at least VG+ and mostly better all through except a few randoms soft tics and the end of side one where there are 5-6 barely audible soft tics in the fadeout. The Labels are Near Mint.

TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
