Description

Thin Lizzy "Shades of a Blue Orphanage" 1972 LP on Decca Records, catalog number TXS 108.
The vinyl is in excellent condition; the sleeve shows some wear and I would rate it as very good.
Some people on Discogs claim that the real first pressing of this album has green labels, not the blue shown here, and that the blue ones were used for a pressing from three or four years after the 1972 release, when the band's popularity began to increase.  I can state nothing concrete on this matter; all I can say is that this copy only has the year 1972 listed on it.  And it was already the early 1980s when I bought this from the awesome import section at the late, great Kroozin' Music on the southwest side of Chicago.
