Details

ULTRA RARE, and LONG OUT OF PRINT, AND incredibly hard to find nowadays - this is the debut album from Adelaide's mid to late 60's folk singing sensation Tina Lawton. What's more, this MONO LP is a rare record company promo copy!

LP jacket is clean, with a minor crease only. No rips or tears. The jacket has a a purple 'Promo - sample Record' satmp on it, and an address sticker on the back. LP itself is clean with no visible marks or scratches. It is also stamped with the record company 'Not For Sale' stamp. I have had this for mnay years and it has been very well looked after. 45 years on - and I doubt you would find a copy in better condition than this.

The very popular Tina Lawton, folk singer and artist, was 21 years old when this, her first album was released in December 1965.  On it she featured traditional songs of the British Isles, accompanied, amongst others by the harpist Huw Jones and Andy Sundstrom on guitar.

CD Disc grading
CD grading is a controversial issue. Some CDs can look faulty, but play fine. Whereas others look fine and do not play. It is generally considered throughout the collecting industry that a CD with perfect playback is in Mint condition, however as collectors ourselves we do not agree with this. For an item to be described as Mint condition it should not only sound perfect, but should also look perfect.

Mint (M): ‘New’ or ‘As new’ condition.
Excellent (EX): Shows signs of having been played (light surface marks), but plays fine and has perfect sound quality.
Very good (VG): Disc has obvious surface marks, but plays fine and has perfect sound quality.
Good (G): Disc is heavily scratched, but despite this plays fine and has perfect sound quality.
Fair (F) or Poor (P): Disc that only plays some of the tracks - We do NOT stock items in this condition.

Grading of CD sleeves and inlays (paper parts)
Mint (M): ‘New’ or ‘As new’ condition.
Excellent (EX): May have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very good (VG): Normal wear and tear without any major defects (this may include light ring wear, light wear to edges, or minor/small seam splits, or similar).
Good (G): Not in 'collectable' condition. Therefore, may have defects such as folding, heavy ring wear or similar
Fair (F) or Poor (P): Torn or defaced. Marked with texta etc.

Please note that this CD has been visually graded only. Any item we sell is described as accurately as possible.
