Up for auction today is a great (and I mean great) Northern Soul 45 Tommy Navarro's “I Cried My Life Away" b/w "Club of Broken Hearts" on the De Jac label.

This is a certified Northern Soul anthem. "I Cried My Life Away" is a tear-drenched, up-tempo dancefloor stormer that has been a staple of the UK Soul/Mod scene. The flip, "Club of Broken Hearts," holds its own with a moody, aching groove that sits right in the pocket.

Original 1964 US pressing with light blue De Jac label / red text. Bell Sound deadwax stamp confirms authentic New York pressing. NOT a reissue or boot; this is the real deal.
