Second Battle, Germany, 1995/ 2012 re of 1971 double lp, gatefold cover, unnumbered 1000 copy edition. This was issued in 1995 in a #'d edition of 750; although this copy says 1995 on the back cover, it is most likely from the 2012 pressing of 1000.

Cover nearly new with just two small corner dings at opposing corners, a light 1" corner crease at bottom opening, and a few tiny nicks to finish, otherwise mint. Lps like new and most likely unplayed.,
An absolute classic of the early 70s German prog scene, features the heavy, driving, electric sweep of early Krautrock, fused with intricate passages, fiery guitar and great keyboard work. The songs are very well crafted, and cohesive even in the longer parts ( and there are some long progressive passages). where there are some challenging instrumental workouts. Overall, the sound is diverse and ornate, occasionally peppered by the standout, sultry female vocals from gifted singer Ellen Meyer, whose voice is somewhat reminiscent of Inga Rumpf in FRUMPY; beautiful, though slightly gritty and sandpaper-y at times. Highly recommended!
