Last year, in 2021, American progressive hard rockers Tool celebrated the TWENTY year anniversary of their third studio album, titled 'Lateralus'. In 2011, to celebrate a decade since its original release, Volcano Entertainment, by way of MCA Records (owned by Sony), issued a special, limited edition copy of 'Lateralus', on a DOUBLE picture disc 180 gram record set! Each record is both 180 grams, AND a picture disc LP!
Ready to melt your face off today is a copy of that gatefold double LP picture disc set! In the way cool holographic, multi colored jacket. These go for over $100, easily. But not today! It's ready to be shipped off to you, on the next business day! Tool, of course, has been rocking America on their 'Fear Inoculum' tour these last several months, and their fans are loving every minute of it!
The gatefold and inner sleeves have flaws. The very top of the outer jacket has a seam split about 3 inches long. Each inner paper sleeve has splits on each side, about an inch and a half long. On both inner paper sleeves. (Probably due to the seller I purchased this from NOT taking the vinyl out of the sleeves before shipping.) See last two pics for flaws.
The vinyl records have flaws, and for this reason, the asking price is quite a bit lower than what you'd usually pay for this pic disc collectible. The seller that I bought this from must have had them on display, and there's light scratches on them. One record has a heavy scuff about an inch or so long. I usually don't play picture discs, but I made an exception this time, and there are loud pops on a couple of sides. So, these should stay off your turntable, but they would look great on display!
But you KNOW I'm not done yet, right? I'll add not one, but TWO magazines with Tool covers and extensive articles, and TWO DVD singles of tracks from the 'Lateralus' album! One mag ('Revolver') is used, but has no rips or tears, dog-eared pages, or handwriting anywhere on it. The other ('Progressive Classic Rock') is new, and is STILL SEALED! NEVER OPENED or READ! CD is still inside the plastic wrap! This is published in the UK, and it's become my new favorite rock magazine. With a look back at the 'Lateralus' album, and the impact it's had!
One DVD single looks new, and is still all shiny and clean. The other has a few surface marks on it, but plays fine. They've both been tested. Each single has the video version of the two tracks released as rock radio singles from 'Lateralus', as well as an extended remix of each of those songs!
A sweet Tool collectible, to hang on the wall, or to display in your music room along side your other cool collectibles! The perfect gift for that Tool fan in your life, or fans of progressive heavy metal, and collectors of classic rock picture discs. Or grab this for the most important Tool fan in your life...you!

I have no control over the USPS, or how long it takes for mail deliveries, (which have been running late lately). Please keep this in mind when making a purchase. I'll also insure this for the sale price, in case something happens in transit!
