Description

Up for auction is a copy of Around The World by The Trade Winds, released circa 1970 on BT Puppy, cat no BTPS 1008. Eleven songs of folk pop from across the globe beautifully performed & arranged by Brander & Sappir, and produced by The Tokens. BT Puppy’s release schedule was pretty sketchy from around this point, and it’s unclear whether albums like this one & subsequent titles such as those by The Town Criers, Brute Force, Bow Street Runners & others were ever actually released to the public or simply stored in warehouses. Either way, most B T Puppy albums from 1969 & beyond are incredibly rare (allegedly pressed in runs as low as 150 copies), and this one is no exception. 

Condition: looks barely played. Vinyl is basically as new. Cover still has maybe 95% of the shrink still in place, though does have a small mark (not a tear!) from sticker removal on the rear. M-/EX (vinyl/cover). 

My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale.
