TRAFFIC - JOHN BARLEYCORN MUST DIE
A very nice condition and highly presentable copy of this 1970 UK 1st press psych/prog gem with brilliant sound quality throughout

Increasingly rare and sought after 1970 UK 1st press psych gem with excellent (EX) condition vinyl - gleaming, jet black sheen with just a couple of very faint scuff lines and a few extremely faint paper scuffs on each side - all surface only, purely superficial and only identifiable with close inspection under a bright light. Great condition 1st press pink Island/"white i" labels with a few very faint spindle trails next to the centre hole on each label. The non-laminated E.J. Day gatefold sleeve remains in impressive very good plus (VG+) condition with firm edges, near perfectly defined right angled corners with barely any rubbing, and no creasing, unwanted writing, or colour fading apart from where there is some very mild vertical "browning" adjacent to the opening edges. There are just a few non-obvious, small and very minor handling/shelf wear marks on the front and reverse side and the occasional very light scuff mark (not obvious at all) on the top and bottom front edges. The interior of the gatefold is near perfect and all colours, art work and text remain crisp, clean, and superbly defined still. Very impressive! The quality of the stereo audio is superb with no clicks, interference or background crackle - simply great tone and crystal clear instrumentation and vocals throughout with every track a great listen. Comes complete with original and correctly dated poly-lined "PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS" inner sleeve with no side splits, tears, or edge fraying but there is some noticeable creasing in one corner and some mild age discolouration towards the edges.
Very nice, certainly desirable, and becoming harder to get get hold of.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
