TRAFFIC SOUND "VIRGIN" PSYCH GARAGE PERUVIAN GROUP

RARE RE-ISSUE FROM 1993 on the UK Essex label Ltd to just 500 numbered coppys this is no 395/500

Their second album recorded in 69 - Musically, this is one ot the most heavy, beautiful, psyched-out LPs ever! Killer fuzz guitar along with all manner of other instrumentation.

Perhaps one of the finest rock albums made in South America in the seventies, and regarded by many collectors among the best psychedelic LPs of all times. This time all songs were original compositions, all group efforts, and played with finesse, finally Traffic Sound had developed its own style. Still some small influence from British rock is evident in some compositions : “Virgin” (The Bee Gees) , “Tell the World I am Alive” (Led Zeppelin) , “Yellow Sea Days” (Pink Floyd) and a touch of The Beatles’ “Strawberry Fields Forever” and “Sky Pilot” on their song “A Place in Time Called You and Me ” (purposely presented backwards on the LP). Virgin made Traffic Sound the most popular group in Peru and the most requested in concerts. Later on became the number one priority among serious collectors of psychedelic recordings.

Please note: all records are removed from their sealed packaging UNLESS REQUESTED OTHERWISE. Once removed from their packaging, they are kept in a 250g polysleeve which ensures protection. The record(s) and its sleeves are then placed between 2 stiffeners & sent in a strong card envelope. This ensures that everything arrives exactly as you’d want it to.
