Description
Trees-On The Shore LP UK CBS 64168 original UK pressing from 1971.This is one of those prog. rock LPs that have become much sought after.As with many of them the music veers from a folky base into straight on guitar based rock.
Condition of the cover is good.Generally a bit of a used feel without anything major being wrong.There are initial signs of ringwear,a few small creases,spots etc.but nothing major-no writing,tears, etc.Overall grades around VG+.
The disc is fairly similar-side 1 looks clean but in artificial light there are underlying signs of use-plays fine with the sound clear and good.Side 2 generally has the sheen of a clean LP but it has 3 or 4 scratches that stand out-however the LP plays fine with very little sign on the sound of these marks-certainly no heavy clicking or sticking.The scratches certainly look worse than any actual affect on the sound.Grades around VG.
A very interesting Alice In Wonderland type cover that is very representative of this side of rock-music.By no means one of the best copies of this album around, but it sits in the mid-range re.condition of both cover and vinyl and there is nothing major wrong with either.
