Vintage LP: Trees - "On the Shore"
cbs orange label 64168 issued 1970
made in England








This is my own copy of On the Shore, bought 36 years ago in Wales.
I first heard Trees in 1969 on 'the rock machine turns you on' sampler and ordered this LP when it came out.

I'm starting to digitize my record collection so I'm selling the LP's as I record them.

This one plays really well with no surface noise crackle or skips.

The record has been played (carefully and probably not too often in the last 30 odd years) - it still looks well cared for and sounds great.

Going by the GEMM grading system, I'd say it would be at least a VG+ to VG++.

  • ~ GEMM grade VG+
    VG+ (Very Good Plus)
    Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops.
    A slight noise at the begining is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless. Definitely no scratches or gouges that a touch with a dry finger can feel.
    Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.

    "VG++" is sometimes used as an intermediate grade between VG+ and M-.
