One very interesting 78. Odeon label is not usually known for 78s like this; at least in the middle eastern geography Odeon most usually housed professional musicians, be them from the cityside or the countryside but in the end, they always feature professional quality and serious music (of course excepting specifically made comic/comedy records). This one definitely is from a group of musicians, most probably street musicians, which perform from time to time in religious or traditional holidays. One side is in Sorani dialect Kurdish and with the occasional shouts of fun and obvious use of not-so-professionally-assembled instruments, this is both odd for Iran and for Odeon label. One of the most interesting and fun records I've ever found!
Disc is a nice clean VG++ on one side and VG on the other. One side has a 1 cm. (very tiny) needle dent which plays through fine, otherwise no scratches or serious marks, only some faint lines, surface is healthy and disc plays very well! Hear below!
