TRIZO 50 LP and 45 rpm 7” record NEW SEALED
German World In Sound label 2004 reissue of 1973-1974 material never commercially released at the time. Single sleeve cover.
Includes a 15 track LP, a 4 track 7”, an 8 page “history of the band” with color photos.

BIGGER NOTE: This is NOT a copy of the original Trizo 50 album that I recently sold. All of these tracks were RE-MIXED by my brother John when he licensed them to WIS in 2004. 8 tracks are from the original album (Side One: 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 & Side Two: 1, 3, 5). “Hollyhocks” was previously available on the 1994 Ton Um Ton German release “A Psychedelic”, which combined recordings by Phantasia and Trizo 50. “Daydreamer” and “At The Window” appeared on the expanded CD version of the Ton Um Ton release and the later WIS release. The remaining 8 tracks here had never been released before. 4 of the tracks on the record (To Love Anybody, Daydreamer, At The Window and Clap Your Hands), featured John and Bob only – the other guys had split by then.
AND FINAL CAVEAT: Despite all good intentions, I feel this was an ill-fated project. It was originally meant to be a Vol. 1 of a two-LP release, so many good tracks were held back for a Vol. 2 that never happened. That plan also resulted in the inclusion of a number of tracks and mixes I was not happy with. In particular, the added vocal “sounds” on “Rip Your Socks Off” are not something I’d have done. (The original un-altered version can be found on YouTube.) Same for the massive distortion on “To Love Anybody” or the concert arena crowd sounds added to “Clap Your Hands” (again a much better, original mix is on YouTube.) At a certain point, both the track selection and the sequence were out of John’s control. The tracks from the original album are pretty faithful, but newly recorded percussion and other sounds were added to five of the other tracks. Also, some tracks were edited for length. But, although I have many misgivings about the mixes on this release, it does provide a different ear to these tracks. And it’s always in the ear of the listener.
FINAL DISCLAIMER: The unreleased “Vol. 2” meant that the history in the liner notes in "Vol 1" here deal completely with the history of Phantasia. Anything regarding Trizo 50 would have appeared in Vol. 2, so what these liner notes provide is one-half of the story, with NOTHING about the recording of the material on this record. Also, the liner notes contain a lot of inaccuracies and mis-remembrances, particularly involving words and deeds of the other bandmates. Many unkind words, given at a specific time, and unjustifiably so. So take all that a with a big grain of salt. - Bob
