On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Tubby Hayes Quintet called "Down In The Vilage" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1962 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Fontana label!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!  IT CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL AND IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  ARTISTS FEATURING ON THE LP ARE:- TUBBY HAYES, JIMMY DEUCHAR, GORDON BECK, FREDDY LOGAN, AND ALLAN GANLEY.  THIS IS THE 1962 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' FONTANA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is 680 998 TL on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Fontana label (see picture) and is a 1962 MONO 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear and only a VERY few spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 absolutely TINY hairlines (only visible under EXTREME light), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops, only 3 or 4 VERY light clicks/pops from the 2 TINY hairlines (NONE elsewhere), NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press Flipback Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has barely ANY edge wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), NO spinal wear (side words PERFECT), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO yellowing, a VERY faint transparent stain towards the bottom right corner, and NO grubbyness!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
