Description
Here we have 3 COLLECTABLE Single vinyl 7" records (45rpm); with 2 tracks each; by THE LAURIE JOHNSON ORCHESTRA, JOHNNY PEARSON & HIS ORCHESTRA & ALAN HAVEN (directed by JOHN BARRY) . The records have the correct era, COLUMBIA / FONTANA custom issue Sleeves.
DISC 1 : THE LAURIE JOHNSON ORCHESTRA : SIDE A. Theme From The T.V. Series "THE AVENGERS" ; matrix A1. SIDE B. Minor Bossa Nova Matrix B1. Ist Issue. (1965) PYE 7N.17015.
Condition : Vinyl : VERY GOOD+ (some minor surface marks; more noticeable under strong, direct light) . Both sides plays very well . The labels are in VG+ condition, with just an arrow & the track timings in biro letting them down. Sleeve VG- . This is the correct Black & White picture sleeve; it is a bit crumpled & creased, with (helpfully ??) "Rainy Day Women - Dylan" written on it ; but otherwise O.K & intact. LISTED @ £50 (Mint).
DISC 2 : JOHNNY PEARSON & HIS ORCHESTRA : SIDE A. The Rat Catchers (Theme From The ARTV Series) ; matrix 3-1. SIDE B. Weavers Green (Theme From the Anglia T.V. Seriers) ; matrix 4-1. 1st Issue. (1966) COLUMBIA DB 7851.
Condition : Vinyl VERY GOOD+ (some minor surface marks) . Both sides play very well. Labels are VG, with light spindle marks & track timing + an arrow on side 2 letting it down. Correct era Sleeve VG+ (original, small tear & some creasing). LISTED @ £20 (Mint).
DISC 3 : ALAN HAVEN : SIDE A. The Knack (Theme From The Film "The Knack") (with Accompaniment Directed By JOHN BARRY) ; matrix 1. SIDE B. Satin Doll (with TONY CROMBIE, drums) ; matrix 1. 1st Issue. (1965) FONTANA TF 590.
Condition : Vinyl VERY GOOD+ (some minor surface marks). Both sides Play Really Well. Labels EXCELLENT, no marks or, writing. Sleeve, EXCELLENT. LISTED @ £15 (Mint).
These discs have been played quite a few times, but are still in Very Good+ condition. They play Very Well. Please don't bid if you looking for a Mint or, perfect copy. These are only Very Good+, great for sound.
