Description
This is a very rare (the 3rd copy I have ever seen in 28 years !!!) and one of the best in my opinion UK PUNK / POWER POP / MINIMAL SYNTH compilation entitled TYGER ANNUAL 1981 from... 1981, this is the ORIGINAL pressing and the first time I have seen this compilation for sale in over 10 years. AN ORIGINAL, AND A MUST !!!.
You might know the TYGER label form many of their rare PUNK / POWER POP / MOD / SYNTH single releases, but this album, which was the first album the TYGER label released, features many bands that never got to release any other products apart from the tracks on this compilation, and hence the only chance to get them will be this compilation, and believe me some of them are better then many of the single releases, or many other released singles, THESE TRACKS SHOULD BE COMPED on the KBD / POWERPEARLS or SYNTH MINIMAL compilations.

BALLY O'BRIEN - TELL ME WHY THE TAPE WOBBLES - Minimal SYNTH with DRUM MACHINE.
RUMBLING ORGANS - SCHOOL RIOT - full on PUNK ROCK with female singer !!!
CATCHERMAN - NO DISCRIMANTION ON THE UNDERGROUND - DIY PUNK sound like DESPERATE BICYCLES.
SIDE TWO:
SPANKERS - SHE'S THE ONE - New Wave sound.
MATT - AIN'T GOT A LOT TO SAY - GREAT MINIMAL SYNTH sound like early ULTARVOX or PAUL NOVA.
FEEDBACK - THINK IT'S TIME TO CALL IT A DAY - Ska sound.
NICK WEBB - REBEL - PUNK poet like John Cooper Clark.
The compilation came out on the private TYGER RECORDS catalogue number TLP 1 , a rare find and an ORIGINAL pressing !!!
This album also comes in as NEW condition, and the VINYL is NEAR MINT (played once by me, was unplayed before !!!), PICTURE SLEEVE is EX+ (only because of very minot ring wear).
