I HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE BEST NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / HEAVY METAL / HARD ROCK COLLECTION I HAVE SEEN IN 35+ YEARS. THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM AN INDUSTRY PERSON WHO WORKED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY BETWEEM THE LATE 70'S AND LATE 80'S SPECIALISING IN ONLY NWOBHM / HARD ROCK / METAL ETC....so keep watching over the next few weeks, as a lot of the items I have for sale never been offered before, most come with letters and promo inserts etc....
This is a RARE PROMO ONLY UK ALBUM BY PINK FLOYD entitled "PINK FLOYD IN EUROPE 1988", ORIGINAL PRESSING WITH MINT VINYL AND A MUST !!! This copy also comes with an ORIGINAL PROMO PRESS RELEASE / LETTER FROM the EMI PROMOTIONS PERSON which says that ONLY 200 COPIES WERE MADE OF THIS PROMO ONLY ALBUM, this original press release never turn up with any of the other copies I have seen for sale !!!
This collection came from a major UK radio person who worked in a major UK radio station from the late 60's to the late 90's all the copies were ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUES or PROMO COPIES !!! The album was pressed in 1988 on EMI RECORDS, catalogue number PSLP 1016, both labels have "PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE" on them. The matrix numbers are ALL MACHINE STAMED and are: SIDE 1: PSLP 1016 A-1-1-1 and PENTHOUSE (all machine stamped), SIDE 2: PSLP 1016 B-1-1-1 and PENTHOUSE (all machine stamped). The tracks are: SIDE 1: MONEY. SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND (PART 1). ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL (PART 2).
SIDE 2: ONE SLIP. ON THE TURNING AWAY. LEARNING TO FLY.
This PROMO ONLY ALBUM also comes with A UNIQUE PROMO PICTURE SLEEVE and a PRESS RELEASE / LETTER FROM EMI PROMOTIONS and the condition of the VINYL is MINT- (Played once to test was unplayed,), P/S is in VG/VG+ condition (small tear to opening and minor rubbing marks), PROMO PRESS RELEASE / LETTER in EX+ condition.
DON'T LET THIS RARE PROMO ONLY PINK FLOYD ALBUM get away as you will NEVER see another one.
