Welcome to Heart of Wax - Vinyl online record shop. I shall endeavour to post up as many exciting records up here that I find. Usually all from private collections which I've sourced. Tyrannosaurus Rex - Beard Of Stars UK press from 1970. On red Regal labels, now defunct.  This, their fourth album, is the precise point where Bolan moved from hippie-garden-fairy to glam-stomping-moon-rocker. Or at least the definite change in musical attitude. Bolan is clearly plugged-in and tuned-on in favouring the electric guitar on here more so than any of the previous three. His 'wah-wah' solo on 'Pavilions of Sun' shows just how much a little electricity can really inject into his new dynamic. The reformation of the band after swapping Peregrine Took for Mickey Finn on percussion sets Bolan up for future glam-rock-God nicely. A quality album and a must for fans of Bowie, Pink Floyd, (Cream era) Eric Clapton...
Condition Sleeve - VG. LP - Very good with some light, surface marks. This is due to age and play. Clean red labels. ___________
