UK FIRST PRESSING MONO HEAVY VINYL LP IN TEXTURED FLIP-BACK SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL LYRIC INSERT AND ORIGINAL WHITE INNER SLEEVE. The matrix/mother/stamper combination idicate that this is a very early pressing, being the third stamper from first laquers and first mothers, placing it in the first 6,000 or less copies pressed. This mono pressing is vastly superior in audio to the muted stereo version, which was probably from a fold-down.
MATRIX NUMBERS IN RUN-OFF GROOVES: SIDE A: XCARX 47-1 / SIDE B: XCARX 48-1
MOTHER No. SIDE A: 1 / SIDE B: 1
STAMPER No. SIDE A: A / SIDE B: L
SLEEVE: VERY GOOD+, WITH SOME LIGHT SHELF, CORNER, RING AND EDGE WEAR. SCUFFS ALONG SPINE AND EDGES. INNER IS EXCELLENT MINUS WITH JUST LIGHT WEAR, AS IS THE WHITE INNER SLEEVE. OVERALL ONE OF THE BEST CONDITION EXAMPLES OF THIS RATHER FRAGILE SLEEVE THAT WE HAVE SEEN FOR SOME YEARS.
DISC: EXCELLENT MINUS. NO SCRATCHES AND SOME MINOR SPINDLE WEAR. THERE ARE LIGHT HAIRLINES AND ONE SMALL SPOT ON TRACK THREE SIDE TWO THAT CLICKS A FEW TIMES, OTHERWISE ONE OF THE BEST COPIES WE HAVE HAD OF THIS LP FOR SOME TIME. OVERALL IT PLAYS AND SOUNDS SUPERB.
