Description

An original 1st issue of CG on the UK Deram label from summer 1970. Matrix 1W/1W - 1st cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold stereo cover. Also included is an original blue and white Decca inner and the original black and white poster. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of insignificant marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with two deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. No signs of overuse - this is a very clean player. The audio quality is absolutely superb and does a fab job of resolving the percussion and distortion in the guitars. Very addictive. The only issues I could pick out were a couple of ticks in the opening of "Working The Road". And a few isolated crackles in 'Me And My Baby'...other than that expect a stellar performance. 
Cover (Ex) A very well preserved original 1970 cover. They do have a tendency to look a bit worn in places, but this example has clearly been looked after. Very nice clean and flat front and rear - I can barely make out a single crease. The interior looks superb with very little signs of ageing. Edge wear is pretty limited and the openings still sharp. The text on the spine is all still legible, with just slightest wear in a couple of spots. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No splits.
Poster (Ex-) In great shape has not been on a wall. No splits.
