Description

1st Press on UK Deram..... A lovely solid pressing. Matrix 4L/2L. Stampers 1U/1U....One of the 1st few thousand copies ever produced. Please note one of the tape numbers is inverted [very much a sixties feature]. Heavy pressing. Gatefold Cover laminated on outside plus Decca 
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Supre lustre like new. A couple of insignificant marks.... Just clean riffage - even in the lowkey moments!  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Nice detailed sound...plenty of dynamics...good snappy percussion....97% perfect. there is, however, one tiny mark in 'Stomp'. Looks like a tiny pressing fault...It causes about 4 clicks in STOMP. This track is quite loud/energetic with handclaps. To be honest - It isn't that noticeable against the backdrop -- I would argue very forgiveable. The remaining 97% is perfect...So the actual standard delivery is phenomenal - straight off those pristine masters. Just listen to the distortion in Alvin's guitar pretty special.
Cover (Ex) Very nice surfaces, with minimal wear -- this copy looks great... The spine is 95% intact with minimal wear.. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. For the vintage...very very nice.!
