~~ This album is a truthful recording of Ten Years After with no overdubs or additives. What you hear is what happened on the night. Recorded over four nights in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Frankfurt and Paris with the Rolling Stones' mobile recording truck and later mixed from sixteen track to stereo at Olympic Studios in London.
Leo Lyons on bass shows that that particular instrument in his hands is a formidable tool in keeping a steady and totally creative sound allowing for Chicks multi layered organ to float within the music thus allowing Alvin Lee to sing his heart out and enjoy himself playing his guitar and you can hear that he is enjoying every note played. Ric plays the drums like a man possessed just listen to the Hobbit. Remarkable album !!Picture overview; please take a look at the pictures:
