Description

Blue Note Mono 1527(1956). DISC is VG+. Has lots of gloss. Has a few hairline marks on each side and a small amount of sleeve pressure marks around intro on both sides. Plays very well with occasional groups of light noise especially in intro on side 2 (solo trumpet). Has been expertly cleaned but might be improved with the right equipment. Deep groove Lexington labels*.

COVER is VG+ with slight wear ring and very slightly blunted right side corners. One very small pen mark under “High Fidelity” on back. No other writing. Very small loss of ink along bottom edge. NO SPLITS.

*STICKER on label (see pic). I removed this sticker from another Blue Note record from the same collection by carefully warming the sticker. I was then able to peel it easily. I removed sticker glue residue with a light solvent after testing on edge of label ...... so IT IS possible to remove the sticker but it is delicate work. Please consider this when bidding. Record & cover will be packed for shipping with great care---record will removed from cover & will be in heavy paper sleeve. Cover will be in plastic sleeve, both between cardboard flats in oversized secure mailer. No reason to worry.
