Description
Please read the entirety of the listing and examine all photos carefully before placing the order:
First pressing from 1957 which includes a flat edge disc, deep grooves, New York 23 labels, RVG hand etched on both sides, 9M etched on both sides, and p/ear etched on both sides.
Record:
Side 1: Retains its original shiny gloss. Some very light surface scuffs/hairlines seen under light but overall looks nice. Plays well with only light “dust surface noise” in the background in some areas. A professional deep clean should help. Enjoyable listen.
Side 2: Retains its original shiny gloss. A few more light scuffs/hairlines. One more visually noticeable non-feelable longer scuff on track 1 that DNAP. Track 2 has a feel-able mark that causes ticks for about half of the song. Some ticks are light and almost unnoticeable and some are a bit louder although it is not intolerable.
Jacket: A large crease runs through the front top of the jacket. Bottom seam has about a 2 inch split. Some clear tape seen on bottom middle. Some areas of what looks like black color touch ups on the top edges, portions of the spine, and bottom seam. Back of jacket has a small cigarette burn.
Player copy for an intermediate collector that should still get great enjoyment with playability. This is NOT for high end audiophile collectors.
