Description

An original 1st press of PEACH on UK Capricorn from '72. Matrix A1/B1/C1/D1. Worth tracking down the early copies as they are pressed on chunkier vinyl. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with catalogue sticker on the rear. There's also the insert credit sheet and both original plain inners. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) A beaut of a copy and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of small light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. The audio quality on these early 1st's is just fantastic. Lovely quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. I'm lovin' it - this is a cracking copy. Hardly any background. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moment per side. Absolutely superb - a gem of a copy.
Cover (Ex-) Very nice indeed - these early copies are unlaminated and many will not be looking anywhere near this nice by this point in time. Pretty clean front and rear with just one issue - that sticker residue mark top right on the front. The interior looks super - can't fault it. Edge wear is very slight for this title and the openings still nice and sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Insert (Ex-) Prone to foxing. Very little ageing evidence.
Inners (Vg) A bit aged. No splits.
